Big Hammer Wines uses FedEx and UPS to fulfill the majority of orders. If your shipping address is located in California, they may use Golden State Overnight (GSO) in lieu of Fedex or UPS. Typically, they will deliver it to you within 2 business days. GSO offers a Saturday service too, if someone is available to sign for the package at your ship's address on Saturday. If you are outside California, they use either UPS or FEDEX, depending on the service area and their delivery schedule in your area.

All orders that are placed online at Big Hammer Wines can be tracked and viewed by the appropriate consumer. Their staff will be extremely efficient in making sure all orders are shipped in a timely manner with the utmost care. Tracking numbers for all packages will be provided generally by email, and customers can carefully follow their package(s) on the FedEx or courier's website.

Your satisfaction is their first priority. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact them within 14 days of the date of your order for customer care assistance. In the event that you have to return merchandise, re-pack the item in its original shipped packaging to ensure a safe return. All requests for returns or cancellations must be made within 14 days of the sales order date. Due to processing fees, such as credit card merchant fees charged by your credit card company, and handling fees, all returns or cancellations are subject to a restocking / cancellation fee (10% of the sales order value) when payment is complete.

Due to CA state law, Big Hammer Wines is unable to accept returns. Big Hammer Wines specializes in private cellar acquisitions and the sale of wines commonly referred to as "gray market" wines. These wines are always sold "as-is," with a buyer-beware caveat. Although they make the best effort to identify and verify provenance, they cannot accept flawed or spoiled wine or returns for any reason for wines older than five years.
